Background
Founded in 1837, John Deere has been a recognizable brand for years now, producing everything from pristine lawn mowers, to industrial diesel engines, to equipment for the government and military. While being a leading manufacturing company with the ability to produce leading equipment is their strong suit, in a tight labor market, maintaining a strong workforce to support production can bring challenges. That was the case for one of their plants when they experienced double digit turn over. They began to seek help from the experts at MAU to provide them with the workforce to staff an entirely new shift and reduce the high employee turnover.
