MAU’s manufacturing client, located in Charleston, SC, experienced a significant change in production volumes due to growth of its existing products and the addition of new product lines. They went through the comprehensive hiring process by recruiting, conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews, performing two-tiered, in-depth skills evaluations, overall selection and onboarding, and detailed, behavioral-based interviews onsite with departmental leadership and the training organization.

The MAU team worked in tandem with the manufacturer to establish a streamlined recruitment and selection process that brought in top-notch candidates. They implemented a Referral Program to reward employees who referred skilled candidates to them and a structured recruiting strategy that included organizing regional job fairs, posting on interactive job boards, and utilizing non-traditional sourcing channels like military recruiting TAP programs.
