MAU has recently launched its annual Wellness Challenge for its internal employees. The challenge encourages participants to make daily commitments to fitness and nutrition in order to build up points each week and win prizes given.
While prizes are exciting and well deserved, the ultimate goal of the challenge is to begin some changes in the employees' lives that they will take with them the rest of the year, to have a WELL lifestyle, and make their lives better!

Health and Wellness Tips
Tip 1: Set Goals - Weight Loss? Grow Stronger? Reduce Stress? Whatever the goals are for you, set them at the beginning of your wellness journey.
Tip 2: One Day at a Time - Making changes, especially when it comes to food and fitness, can be difficult. Celebrate daily victories and look at each day as an opportunity to succeed!
Step 3: Be Creative with Exercise - Evening walks with your family, weekend hiking, or chasing your kids in the playground are all physical activity. Don't feel confined to a treadmill; get creative!
Step 4: Try Something New - Be willing to try a new vegetable, whole grain, or new form of exercise. There are many resources on the web for recipes and exercise techniques you may have never thought of before.
Step 4: Don't go it Alone - Everyone benefits from accountability so ask your spouse, friend or co-worker to start a wellness challenge with you!
