MAU’s Barbara Lowe awarded Administrative Professional of the Year

At this week’s Columbia County Chamber SuCCessful 
Superwoman’s Brunch
, long time MAUBarbara Lowe employee, Barbara Lowe, was given the 2014 Administrative Professional of the Year award. Barbara has been with MAU for over 28 years and currently serves as the Executive Assistant to President Randall Hatcher, as well as the Administrative Supervisor.  Her involvement in both large meetings and social functions at MAU has become imperative over the years.  From organizing each year’s Christmas Celebration to handling day to day tasks, Barbara has her hand in nearly every happening at MAU. 

Furthermore, as a two time cancer survivor, Barbara is heavily involved in Relay for Life and rallies MAU employees every year to play a large role in the Annual Relay for Life walk.

This year’s SuCCessful Superwoman’s Brunch featured keynote speaker, Sherry Shoemaker.  Sherry uses her life experiences as an inspiration to step out of her comfort zone, offering women three simple steps to help them find their way to success.
