Making Lives Better Diversity Scholarship

The Making Lives Better Diversity Scholarship was established in 2020 because we believe that educational advancement is a key element in producing diversity in leadership roles and career advancement.  We want to ensure that all students have the opportunity to not only graduate college, but that they also build relationships with companies such as MAU and other industry leaders, for successful careers.  The Making Lives Better Diversity Scholarship is one avenue of helping to alleviate some of the financial burden of college, but we are also interested in maintaining long-term relationships with the students we help.

Deadline for Appplications: Friday, May 10
To be applied for fall semester.

How are New Recipients Chosen?

The recipients are chosen by the MAU Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Steering Committee based off the criteria listed below; however, the information in the applicant’s essay and reference letters provide the most insight into who is chosen.

We are seeking a diverse group of students with strong moral character, who are genuinely passionate about making a positive impact in their communities after graduation.
